Designed and made in Los Angeles, California, Simone Aviv was created for the woman who celebrates her curves through fashion. Driven by her love for fashion and disappointment from not finding a flattering fit in her favorite designs, Simone Babila felt a personal need to bring excitement to the market catering to curvy women. Transcending seasons and trends, each garment is designed to project radiance and confidence to the wearer and walk you through life’s expected and unexpected moments in style.
Meet Simone, the Designer
Simone’s world has always been filled with color. Inspired by her mother, who’s an artist, Simone was drawn to art at a young age but chose fabric as her medium and found herself expressing her art through fashion. Having trouble finding figure flattering clothing for her shape at retail stores, Simone started designing and creating custom clothing for herself by the age of 16 with the help of local tailors. After receiving a degree in Fashion Marketing and Management from the Art Institute in California, Simone dived into the corporate world of fashion to hone in on her own skills. After two years of research, development and production, Simone put her name on her own label, launching her first collection for Simone Aviv.
